Additional Scholarships are awarded by The Quaker Foundation each year at our annual Recognition Awards Banquet held in May.
How to Apply for Scholarships
Applications may be picked up in the high school guidance office or downloaded from this website in January. Completed applications are typically due and must be turned in to the NPHS Guidance Office by the end of January.
Below is a list of current Scholarships.
- Hodder/Williams Scholarship for a student who will be pursuing a career in education
- McIntosh/Lamneck Scholarship for a student who will be pursuing a career in education
- Henry F. and Florence Lightel Ashbaugh Memorial Scholarship for a student who will be pursuing a career in education
- Chip Graham Memorial Scholarship for a student who has been in the instrumental music program or the vocal music program for at least three years in high school (including their senior year) and is planning to major in education
- Mindy Alpeter Memorial Scholarship for a student who will be pursuing a career in performing or fine arts
- James and Linda Angel Rice Leadership Scholarship for a student pursuing a career in fine arts
- Joe Metzger Memorial Leadership Scholarship for a student pursuing a career in music
- James D. Short Memorial Fine Arts Scholarship for a student pursuing a career in fine arts
- McInturf Scholarship for a student who will be attending a Bible College
- Keith V. Nepsa Memorial Scholarship for a student pursuing a career in computer science
- Hank and Chuck Porterfield Science Scholarship for a student pursuing a career in science
- John P. and Mary I. Baab Family Accounting/Business Scholarship for a student pursuing a career in accounting/business
- Charles and Lucille Edie Memorial Scholarship for a student who will pursue a career in one of the STEM areas of study (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)
- Kenneth and Dorothy Winters Memorial/Quaker Foundation Scholarship (Nursing or Voc/Tech)
- C. Curtis and Dorothy Weaver Meredith Memorial Leadership Scholarship (OSU or other state accredited school, for a student majoring in nursing, medicine, or engineering)
- Susan Goodie Academic Achievement Scholarship for a female student wishing to pursue a career in engineering or related field (College test scores will be used to evaluate.)
- Kim Francis Straub Memorial Fine Arts Scholarship for a student pursuing a career in art/fine or performing arts
- John and Geneva Roll Memorial Scholarships for students pursuing a career in education or music
- Yaggi Family Memorial Scholarship for a student pursuing a career in either engineering, education, business or medical
- Ricklic Family Actuarial Science Scholarship for a student pursuing a career in actuarial science
- Debra Aubihl Knisely Fine Arts Scholarship for a student pursuing a career in fine or performing arts
- Cris Cornell Memorial Business Scholarship for a student pursuing a career in business
- Wallace Scholarships for students pursuing careers in education or accounting/finance/business
